Some operations are a market. Some are a butcher. Some are an industrial frigorífico that ships frozen pallets to ports. We're all four, and they all run under one roof — because the same house that serves a family on Saturday morning also packs export containers on Tuesday night.

Our position

Zelyx is the operating brand of Mercado e Açougue Barateiro Ltda — a São Paulo-based operation running four integrated channels: a full food market, a traditional butcher house, an internal frigorífico, and an export operation for international markets.

The retail floor is what most people see first — a mercado & açougue in Vila Itaberaba where families shop for the week, where the butcher counter cuts to order, and where the food market range covers the actual things people put in a basket. Quality, fairness, and the kind of pricing that earns the "Barateiro" name.

Behind the floor runs the frigorífico — the cold-storage and processing operation that supports both the retail counter and the wholesale customers who buy in volume. Cold-chain integrity, vacuum packaging, frozen handling, and the discipline that the protein business has always required.

And on the back of that infrastructure runs the export channel — international shipments of frozen and refrigerated meat products, with the certifications, documentation, and cold-chain logistics that crossing a border requires. The same operation that sells a kilo of picanha at the counter can ship a container of beef cuts to a buyer overseas.
